- The company is building web based analytics platform. The candidate has to build server side of the web application from scratch. He should integrate various modules like analytics module, front end, and data preparation (ETL). He should able to work with little or no guidance. He should have very good understanding of general aspects of web technologies and processes.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ideal candidate must have experience in:
- Web development;
- Building web applications in python + Django framework
- AJAX
- SQL and NoSQL technologies (preferably MySQL, Oracle, Postgres, and Mongodb)
- Creating REST APIs development in linux environment
- Django ORM
- Hands-on multi-threaded coding experience along with synchronous and asynchronous code
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Unit testing, Version control in git
- Highly Desirable
- Strong knowledge in data structures,OOP, and computer fundamentals
- Experience in AWS/Google Cloud environment
- Knoweldge of Big data technologies like Hadoop and spark
- Working in Agile/scrum environment
- Highly scalable applications
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in Django
- Proficiency in a web development, SQL and NoSQL
- Have preferably worked on Analytics product/project
- 3 years experience as a back-end web developer using Python/Django framework
- Must be able to handle front end and backend - Full Stack
- Proficient in HTTP protocol, REST APIs, JSON- Proficient in HTML, CSS
- Ability to do database design and modeling
- Ability to write clean structured modular code with standards
- Good Skills on Responsive Web design

Minimum Qualification
- BE/MCA/MS/M Tech with strong programming skills.
- Should be a hands on programmer, willing to write code right at the interview stage.
- Development of a Web-based application in an Agile Environment.
- Hands on experience in eCommerce software & solutions.
- Knowledge of Java web/application servers.
- A solid understanding of data structures, design patterns and OOPS.
- Experience with Spring Framework.
- Experience in Javascript frameworks such as React js or AngularJS.
- Good understanding of database design – SQL Server experience preferred.
- Good at writing efficient, maintainable and reusable code that preserves privacy and security.
- Good at coding / unit testing the modules, so they can be integrated with little / less interactions with front-end teams.
- Work closely with the Business team to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to effectively work in a fast- pace, deadline- driven, and collaborative programming environment.
- Ability to learn new technologies, lead, guide and motivate individuals and develop team.
- must be able to interface with hardware/cloud requirements in projects.
- Must be able to work independently and smart working, good communication skills etc
